The Lakes Country Club is a secluded 380-acre community located off Country Club Drive in Palm Desert, California. This private club boasts 902 condominium homes that were built between 1982 and 1987, each with its own unique golf course or lake view. With 1-5 bedrooms and 1,368 – 4,276 square feet, the homes feature 12 different floor plans and offer easy access to one of 48 community swimming pools and spas.
The Home Owners Association (HOA) dues include a social, fitness, and tennis membership, cable TV, trash pickup, exterior building maintenance, earthquake insurance, and 24-hour in-home alarm monitoring security. Additionally, a reserve replenishment fee of nine times the current HOA dues is required from new homeowners.
The Lakes CC is equity-owned, and membership is capped at 675. The community features a 27-hole championship golf course designed by Ted Robinson in 1982, which boasts scenic lakes, waterfalls, and fountains, with water in play on 23 of 27 holes.
